Six-piece Sydney band, Chasing the Moon, plays Hot Club Jazz, as created by Django Reinhardt & Stephane Grappelli in the 1930's. The band plays with energy and passion, reminiscent of the great jazz of days gone by. There's a freshness in the way different styles are combined, a mix of hot club with blues, a touch of folk, flirting with Latin rhythms, plus lashings of swing and modern elements too.
